Welcome to CmfrtHaus — A Simple, Elevated Life
Hi there — I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a mom of a busy toddler and currently expecting our second little boy in May 2025. We live in the northeast, and I’m on a journey to build a life that feels cozy, elevated, and rooted in simplicity.
I started this blog as a space to share the things that help bring peace and meaning into my everyday—whether it’s how we care for our homes, how we create routines that work for our families, or how we find small comforts that matter most.
My faith is at the center of everything I do. So from time to time, you’ll find devotionals, Scripture reflections, and encouragement that I hope can uplift and support you, too.
A Reflection on John 14

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.” — John 14:1
There’s such a deep comfort in that verse. Jesus offers peace even in the middle of uncertainty—a promise that can anchor us. I’ve been reflecting on how we can take that same peace and apply it within our own homes.
Whether it’s through the way we rest, love one another, or create intentional spaces, we can reflect that eternal care right here.
Below is a collage featuring the Bible I read from each morning, it truly has transformed my life and made reading the Bible easier/ more enjoyable along with some of my favorite journaling tools that help me begin each day with intention and calm. I hope they inspire you to carve out a few quiet moments in your own routine, too.
Thanks for stopping by—I can’t wait to grow this space and share more with you soon.

How I Start My Mornings with Comfort and Focus
Each morning, I make it a priority to start the day with some quiet time before everything gets busy. I like to wake up early, wrap myself in a soft robe, and sit in a calm space with my over-the-ear headphones—sometimes playing soft music, sometimes just enjoying the silence. I begin by reading one chapter from the Everyday Life Bible by Joyce Meyer, using a set of pastel Bible highlighters to mark verses that stand out to me. After that, I usually read about ten pages of a current book—right now, it’s Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan. I also keep a personalized journal nearby for writing down any reflections, prayers, or thoughts that come to mind. It’s a simple rhythm, but it helps me feel grounded, refreshed, and focused for the rest of the day.
